Job Description:

Rapier Employment are seeking a highly motivated Industrial/Driving Recruitment Consultant to join their dynamic team. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and placing qualified candidates in industrial positions, ensuring the highest level of service to both our clients and candidates. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from candidate sourcing to onboarding, while building strong relationships with clients and candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Attracting new candidates through networking, advertising, and social media
  • Managing and developing client relationships in a highly competitive marketplace
  • Building strong commercial relationships with businesses of all sizes, from global multinationals to rapidly growing SME's
  • Conduct the full 360 recruitment cycle and undertake recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates for industrial/driving roles
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their recruitment needs, job requirements, and the organisations culture
  • Proactively source and attract qualified candidates for both temporary and permanent positions, utilising effective recruitment strategies and techniques
  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews, evaluating their skills, qualifications, and suitability for specific job openings
  • Manage candidate pipelines and maintain a database of qualified candidates

Requirements:

  • Driving licence is essential
  • Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant is desirable
  • Proven track record in a customer service and sales environment
  • Good basic knowledge of what agency recruitment entails
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities
