Job Title: Print Operator - Night Shift (8 hours)

Location: Wymondham, Norfolk

Salary: £20,820.80, plus 27.5% shift allowance= £26,546.52

We are recruiting for Print Operator to join our client based in Wymondham, Norfolk.

The site specialises in production of outbound and inbound document services. The site contains printing, mailing and warehousing capability for the purposes of outbound mail and postal and electronic receipt, capture, validation, and document storage for the purposes of inbound mail. In addition, Production Services, Finance, and IT functions reside on the site. Both Inbound and Outbound operations provide services for multiple customers.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Working as part of a team in a Production environment, you will undertake the operating of various printing equipment. This could include Xerox HLC cut sheet printers, Canon continuous printers, CS6 offline cutter and canon full colour cut sheet printers.

Basic PC skills will also be required for duties such as managing print queues, booking work in, undertaking reprints and despatching of work.

The job is a physical job and you will be required to be on your feet all shift operating machinery, after full training has been given. You will need to adhere to quality and output targets and must also show an all-round willingness to complete other tasks as requested.

HOURS

35 hours per week, Night Shift Pattern Sun-Fri 023:00-07:00. This includes 2 x 30 minutes break daily. (Weekend availability)

QUALIFACTIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous Warehouse/Production experience
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • IT Literate & competent in the use of MS Excel
  • Mechanical aptitude required

No previous print experience is required as full training is provided, but you must have previous Warehouse/production experience.
