SEND Teacher - Brent

We are looking for an SEND Teacher to work within a pleasant SEND school in Richmond. This is a long term position leading to a perm role for the right candidate. This is based in one of their Primary Classes. You will have 3 TA's in their class and get time for preparation and planning each week.

The Role:

  • Teach either individuals or small groups of pupils within, or outside, the class
  • Develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils
  • Assess children who have long or short-term learning difficulties and work with colleagues to identify individual pupils' special needs
  • Prepare lessons and resources
  • Mark and assess work

Requirements

  • QTS and the right to work in the UK.
  • Experience of working with SEN
  • Undertaken training and has the expertise to work with children with special needs.
  • In depth understanding of the EYFS
  • The commitment to raising standards for all pupils
