Sales Director (Renewable energy sector)
Reporting to the Head of REC's
Based in: London with national and international travel

Position overview:
As the Sales Director, you will report to the Head of REC's in Singapore and be responsible for identifying potential markets, building a sales pipeline and securing long-term agreements with renewable energy generators.
Key responsibilities:
- Own EAC sales revenue target for specific market(s), build sales pipeline and drive sales closure to achieve the periodic revenue targets:
- Analyse and identify key industries based on their scope 2 carbon emission level.
- Identify potential major corporate customers within the target industries for sales opportunities.
- Build relationships with the identified customers by providing value-adding advisory on decarbonization and solutions
- Drive sales engagements with customers through to closure, including submission and negotiation of commercial proposals, and negotiation of contractual agreements.
- Maintain relationship with existing customers to drive recurring sales revenue.
- Own the EAC supply target for specific market(s), build supply pipeline and secure long-term agreements with renewable energy generators to achieve the periodic supply targets:
- Analyse demand trend for various types of EACs for the specific market(s) covered, including demand forecasted by other markets.
- Identify and build relationships with potential credible renewable energy generators for long-term supply opportunities.
- Perform due diligence on the identified generators to ensure credibility, supply capacity and quality.
- Secure long-term agreements with generators through win-win and commercially viable proposals.
- Manage the inventory portfolio and minimize inventory risk by closely monitoring the customer demand pipeline and market price trend.
- Work closely with Marketing Department to drive market awareness for companies offerings and lead generation for new customers/generators.
Requirements:
- Education to a Bachelor's Degree or Masters' Degree level
- Sales experience in energy, commodity or financial sectors selling to significant multinational companies.
- Strong track record of sales achievements and relationship management.
- Knowledge of voluntary/compliance EACs, decarbonization, corporate sustainability, and/or experience in trading EACs will be advantageous.
- Professional written and oral communication skills in English and a local language for the country based.
