Location: Watford General Hospital, Vicarage Road, Watford, WD18 0HB

Ward/Dept: Care of the elderly

Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week or less

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm

Pay Rates - Day: £15.25

Responsibilities of this job role

  • Provide assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs and to provide expert advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers, relatives and other non-professionals.
  • Assess and treat own caseload of patients and maintain own records as an autonomous practitioner with access to a senior member of staff for advice and support on a daily basis.
  • You will have clinical supervision on a regular basis by a more senior member of the team. Additional supervision takes the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case conferences and reflective practices.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

Degree in Occupational Therapy.

HCPC registered.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
