Academics works closely with secondary schools across Warrington and we're currently recruiting a History Teacher to join our supply team of teacher for roles starting in September.
We're looking to recruit a highly skilled and passionate History Teacher for a range of roles starting in the new academic year in a variety of schools across Warrington.
We are interested in speaking to teacher who are looking for long term roles as well as teachers looking for day to day supply.
Academics is dedicated to connecting talented educators with schools in need of qualified professionals.
As a History Teacher working with Academics you will have the opportunity to teach across a range of year groups and abilities, providing cover for absent teachers in various schools across Warrington.
You will deliver engaging and interactive lessons whilst effectively managing the classroom environment. You will be expected to maintain a good classroom behaviour and create a stimulating learning environment that encourages pupils' academic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities
- Adhering to the schools policies and procedures
- Managing the classroom effectively to ensure a conductive environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience of teaching the History curriculum up to GCSE
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual pupil needs
- Good classroom management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments
