Location: Tunbridge Wells, UK

Job Type: Part-Time (3 days per week including Saturdays)

Hours: Weekdays 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM - 9am-5pm Saturdays

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Property Manager / Lettings Negotiator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves managing a portfolio of residential properties, coordinating lettings, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for the property market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Management:

  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure properties are well-maintained.

  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs with contractors and suppliers.

  • Handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and property legislation.

  • Manage tenancy renewals and terminations, including deposit returns and disputes.

  • Lettings Negotiation:

  • Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.

  • Negotiate tenancy terms and prepare tenancy agreements.

  • Carry out reference checks and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.

  • Maintain and update property listings on various platforms.

  • Provide market advice to landlords and assist in setting rental prices.

  • Customer Service:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and act as the first point of contact for all property-related inquiries.

  • Address and resolve any complaints or issues that arise.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in property management is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the residential property market and local area knowledge of Tunbridge Wells.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • ARLA qualified preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using property management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving license and own vehicle.

Working Hours

  • Part-time: 3 days per week including Saturdays.
  • Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM weekdays 9am-5pm Saturdays.
