Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, start times between 6am and 8am
Pay Rate: £16-£17 per hour
Workchain is currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Manchester. This temporary position offers competitive pay rates and an opportunity to work in the growing driving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver a Class 1 vehicle
- Transport goods and materials to various locations
- Ensure timely delivery of goods
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications Required:
- Valid HGV Class 1 License
- CPC qualification and ADR licence
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Manchester and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and customer service skills
