As an ICT Senior Service Delivery Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our ICT infrastructure and providing technical assistance to our staff. The Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement/Contracts Management professional to join our busy ICT Department at South Wales Police. The successful candidate will report to the Businesses Services Manager and is responsible for areas of Business Management including procurement, contract management, and supplier relations. The role's purpose is to ensure the delivery of IT Commercial Services to support business and project delivery, internal customers, external agencies/partners, and suppliers, to pursue efficient and effective solutions in line with contracted service levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT Commercial and Procurement services to internal customers
  • Manage and coordinate Procurement, Contract and Supplier management processes
  • Monitor and report on Contact delivery performance against SLAs and KPIs and take appropriate action to resolve issues / improve services
  • Collaborate with other ICT teams to ensure that IT services align with business needs

Requirements:

  • Must possess a relevant degree and/or hold other significant ICT or Business Management related qualifications or demonstrate relevant experience
  • Proven skills in managing and operating within agreed ICT Business Management processes at an organisation of comparative size, using a diverse range of technology-based services
  • Proven experience in ICT Business Management in one or more of the following areas:
  • Proven experience of increasing ICT efficiency, reducing risks, and improving performance through the implementation of IT business management
  • Must have a good understanding of Data Protection and Freedom of Information issues and be up to date with current legislation, policy, and procedures

Where you'll fit in:

You'll sit within the Service Delivery section of the department. Reporting to the Business Services Manager, your areas of responsibility will include:

  • ICT Service Management Systems, Software and Services
  • ICT Stakeholder Relations Management,
  • ICT Supplier Management
  • ICT Procurement

This role will also provide cross-functional resilience within the ICT Business Support Unit.
