Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the HR Director to:

  • Advise candidates, agencies, and internal stakeholders on safer recruitment processes

  • Enhance recruitment efforts via job boards and social media platforms

  • Act as the first point of contact for potential applicants

  • Address day-to-day HR issues and queries proactively

  • Provide prompt advice on HR procedures and employee counselling

  • Obtain written reference requests

  • Assist with payroll processing for starters, leavers, and contractors

  • Monitor employee absence

  • Arrange overseas police checks as necessary

  • Assist with annual safeguarding declaration communications

  • Ensure HR data management complies with GDPR

  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes

  • Assist line managers with interview setup

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law

  • Participate in interviews

Requirements:

  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification
  • Experience within the Education sector
  • Familiarity with OFSTED and/or ISI inspections
  • Recruitment experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law
