Job Title: UK Finance Manager – fluency in Mandarin required
E-commerce Retail Business
Rapidly growing E-commerce business with sales in excess of £200m per annum and currently operate warehouse sites across the UK.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Control
- Oversee the day-to-day UK accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
- Liaise with finance staff in China on a daily basis.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Provide analysis / explanations to senior management of financial data to help identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and reconcile trial balance, review balance sheet and P&L statement.
- Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns.
- Monthly site visits to check stock, plus support for year-end external audit count. Review of variances, stock amendments and postings.
Compliance Controls
- Ensure compliance with HMRC.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare draft annual financial statements pre audit.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Work with external consultants to perform corporation tax calculations and reporting.
- Comply with all financial regulations.
Cash Flow Management
Skills and Qualifications
- Recently qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
- Strong Analytical skills
- Month end closing experience
- Detail conscious and strong communication skills
- Excel skills
Language:
Fluent Mandarin and English (required)
