Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

You're a proactive business partner with an analytical mind, a problem-solver and looking for a career move.

Maybe because you've reached a ceiling with no opportunity to progress.

Perhaps because of the work you've done the FP&A dept is slick and there's no longer the challenge you seek.

Or your next move internally means managing a team, and line management isn't your idea of fun.

Whatever your motivation, being able to fix one or all of those problems would be highly attractive. And it's in your interest to read on.

This is a stand-alone role, managing no one and reporting to the Finance Director of a £160m revenue business which is part of a wider group (t/o of £2 billion). No shortage of career opportunities here, if that's what you want.

Although the role is technically a replacement for a leaver, it's not. We're not looking for a safe and steady pair of hands, but someone like you, who'll challenge existing processes and procedures, improve the technology and help drive the business into its next phase of growth.

Moving work away from large, complex spreadsheets and finding a better way to produce and present financial information, using visualisation tools, maybe Power BI? You will be crucial to the decision-making process.

Day-to-day, as you'll expect, you'll be hands-on looking at budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling and performance management.

Your people skills will come into play, working with a wide stakeholder group including six managers covering 23 countries and the UK management team.

The whole finance team work from home but the business has offices in Leeds and London so if you want to attend the office with teammates all or part of the week, you can do so. You'll not be alone.

Annual holiday is 25 days plus bank holidays (talk to us if you're interested and this needs to be jiggled to match your current arrangement), they operate a flexible week, treating the team like adults provided the work is done and done to expected standards, and knowing you'll appreciate that with stakeholders across the globe you might need to adapt to reach people.

If you're qualified (probably CIMA), that's a huge advantage, but we're open to applications from those who never completed their qualification but have the depth of experience needed, likely from a similar-sized organisation.

This is an incredible opportunity to work in an organisation where you'll be heard, have influence, learn and be able to make a huge impact.

Apply now to be considered. All applications are reviewed by a human being.
