Quality Technician

We are seeking proactive, detail-oriented candidates with a strong willingness to learn for the position of Quality Technician. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all incoming materials meet our quality standards before they enter our manufacturing lines.

This role is office based, however you will need to be on production lines to carry out certain tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Inspection: Supervise and execute trials of new materials to assess quality compliance. Conduct inspections of both incoming materials and finished products on-site.
  • Data Management: Collaborate with team members to identify quality issues, collect relevant data, and input it into our databases. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all collected data.
  • Sample Collection and Shipping: Collect samples from manufacturing lines and coordinate shipping to designated testing centres while ensuring compliance with all relevant sampling policies.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Identify gaps in testing, inspection, or sampling processes. Develop and document standard operating procedures based on team input and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills for data verification and quality assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating sample shipments and collaborating with team members.
  • Experience in creating job aids and SOPs is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning.

This is an on site role and you will be required to be on site Monday to Friday.

Hours are 8am - 4pm however have flexible start times if required.
