Electrical Engineer / Assembler Full Time, Permanent King's Lynn £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Our client is a manufacturer of bespoke industrial equipment for the FMCG and retail industry across the world. They continually invest in their people and site which has seen them to now become one of the leaders in the UK for product innovation, and design concepts.
Working within an established engineering team you will fabricate, fit, and assemble the electrical and pneumatic components of various mechanical and electrical systems. The responsibilities include keeping accurate records of all maintenance work done and repairing malfunctioning mechanical and electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an assembly, mechanical/electrical engineer or similar role with a good electrical and mechanical knowledge.
What's involved for the Electrical Engineer / Assembler
- Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions.
- Taking part in planning, product and development meetings.
- Verifying dimensions and product specifications.
- Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present.
- Carry out any work as requested and carry out any internal electrical maintenance.
- Maintain high quality through constant monitoring and inspection.
- Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in.
- Ensuring that quality control standards are met.
- Work to the installation schedule.
- Testing products for their functionality.
- Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimise problems or recalls.
- Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.
What you'll need...
- Strong experience within mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Understanding of electrical components, including power distribution, motor control, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and understand product schematics, assembly instructions, and electrical drawings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented, focused, and adept at problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
