Graduate Engineering Geologist

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience, civil engineering or physical geography graduate to join an industry leading, nationwide engineering contractor on projects around the North East. As a graduate engineering geologist, you'll be provided with a range of projects to work on alongside specialist training in order to kickstart your career and apply your educational knowledge.
As a Graduate Engineering Geologist you will be working largely on site:
- Carrying out in-situ testing, gas monitoring and soil sampling.
- Soil and rock logging.
- Supervising ground investigations.
- Writing factual reports.
- Liaising with team members to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.

The Graduate Engineering Geologist selected will have a degree in geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering, physical geography or a related subject. Applicants must hold a valid UK Driving licence, be commutable to Durham, be willing to travel to sites and have a full right to work in the UK.
