We're proud to be partnering with a highly successful Manufacturing business located in Hemel Hempstead that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant.
As Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for looking after the End-to-End Management Accounts process for multiple legal entities 4, including UK and International locations. In addition, you'll be producing the full board pack with commentary and actionable insights identified through the month end analysis.

THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for the Month End Management Accounts process for multiple legal entities.
- Producing the Monthly Management Accounts pack by WD5 including commentary, cashflow reporting and actionable insights
- Monitoring financial controls and introducing new controls where required
- Preparing global weekly after sales flash reports for the SLT
- Managing all payments out of the UK bank accounts; trade creditors, payroll and pension related costs, finance and other costs.
- Approving weekly payment runs
- Preparing payroll and collaborating with the payroll provider, and Preparing pension payments
- Reviewing credit cards expenses & approvals on concur - new card holder applications
- Annual R&D tax credits financial submission preparation
- Margin report for equipment
- Involved in the Year End and External Audit, liaising with external auditors as necessary
- Overseeing/Approving Quarterly VAT Submissions
- Support and liaising with internal departments, intercompany, agents and clients
- Responsible for stock reporting and ensuring it is accurate for month end
- Conducting analysis into Cost of Manufacturing and identify efficiencies
- Providing Finance Business Partnering support as required
THE PERSON:
- Ideally fully Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA), however, exceptional candidates who are Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience will be considered
- Must have experience in a Management Accountant role
- Experience within a Manufacturing or Engineering is essential
- Significant experience gained within a similar role
- Experience of an ERP system is essential, SAP B1 would be ideal but is not essential
- Excellent attention to detail needed
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
