.NET SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - INITIAL 6 MONTHS - INSIDE IR35
Loriens new Public Sector client is looking for a .Net Software Developer with a strong Front end focus on an initial 6 month contract.
Duties
- Ensure that the latest code build is safeguarded and up to date on the Github
- Ensure that the organisation is able to deploy the full environment in an Azure test site and on the Devnet environment
- Ensure that there is a robust protocol for the deployment of the application in the Live environment, and an appropriate level of documentation is available
- Develop changes to the application as prioritised in the backlog using Jira
- Support the migration of the web portals to the Scottish Government Cloud
- Support the rewrite of the web portals in Outsystems should this be confirmed
Skills and experience
The appointed contractor will need to have relative experience in the following:
Essential:
- .Net Entity framework
- Umbraco
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Encryption using "SQL Server - Always encrypted", or similar
Desired:
- Github or a similar code repository
- Azure Cloud
- Familiar with SSL Certificates and other standard web security protocols
