Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. This role involves managing complex cases, conducting visits and risk assessments, and delivering patient-centered treatment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting patients to achieve their health and rehabilitation goals, promoting independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload and develop individualized treatment plans to meet each patient's needs.
  • Conduct visits and comprehensive risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential health risks.
  • Undertake evidence-based treatments, supporting patients through tailored interventions and therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to provide holistic care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in case management, conducting assessments, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to independently manage a complex caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
  • Familiarity with NHS standards and practices is advantageous.
