Press Tool Setter
The company
A well-established Pressings manufacturer supplying into the Automotive and Aerospace industries. They operate out of their site in Birmingham and thanks to a number of key contracts are looking to add a Press Tool Setter to the team.
The role
Reporting into the Press Tool Supervisor, they are looking to add another Press Tool Setter to the team to carry out the required contracts they have.
You will take responsibility for:
- Set presses accurately ensuring that all presses remain operational and working at optimum speeds
- Operating all necessary lifting equipment to assist with moving tools and other objects to help keep the workshop in an orderly state
- Ensure that components are checked and have been inspected and are ready to be used again next time
- Work from technical drawings
- Making sure that all work is completed to the required standards as outlined by the quality control department
- Help assist with the assembly department if/when needed
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Experience working within a Press Tool environment and have experience working in a busy manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow guidelines and outlined procedures that are set by the company
- Maintain personal responsibility of all work that is required to be completed
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Adaptable and able to move between tasks efficiently
What is on offer
