Our client is a top-tier global, highly successful asset manager. They are currently seeking a PR Manager to bolster their expanding UK retail and direct-to-consumer division. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PR and communications within the personal finance sector.
Key Responsibilities of PR Manager (D2C):
- Safeguard and elevate the brand and reputation as a leader in retail investing, proactively managing potential crises and identifying opportunities to strengthen the firm's corporate image.
- Develop and maintain a network with key personal finance journalists and influencers, cultivating strong relationships through media events, calls, and other initiatives aimed at boosting our client's visibility.
- Craft high-quality press releases, articles, commentaries, social media posts, and other communications materials with creativity and precision.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and seize opportunities for compelling content, distributing it through various external media channels.
- Support the day-to-day management of PR agencies.
- Prepare and coach spokespeople for media interviews, ensuring they are well-briefed.
- Monitor daily media coverage and compile reports on a weekly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis.
Experience required of PR Manager (D2C):
- Experience in investment management, retail/personal investing market expertise
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
