Description
- Lead a team of four in delivering monthly financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Oversee the monthly financial close process, including forecasting, budgeting, and analysing financial results.
- Manage all facets of statutory financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements for nine companies and group consolidation.
- Ensure a robust internal control environment by conducting thorough reviews of all financial statements.
- Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements and manage the external audit process, including drafting technical accounting papers.
- Conduct commercial financial analyses and manage special projects to support business case development across the division.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance business profitability and performance, including providing financial guidance to business leaders for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and statutory laws.
- Identify and drive improvements in existing systems, processes, internal controls, and reporting, ensuring all finance-related activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide technical support for the implementation of accounting standards and address related queries.
- Collaborate proactively with auditors to resolve complex accounting issues and challenges.
- Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit card processing, banking, cash flow, project finance, and other duties essential to the role.
Profile
You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills, with the desire to lead a team within a growing, global tech company.
A background within external audit is highly advantageous.
