Role - Senior Electrical Engineer:
The Senior Electrical Engineer role will expose you to complex projects of national significance, including:

  • Hospitals, Clinics & Surgeries
  • Universities, Schools & Institutions
  • Life Science and Pharmaceutical Laboratories

While undertaking these projects, the Senior Electrical Engineer will be a vital team member and have a high degree of autonomy. You will take on the responsibility to manage the electrical engineering aspects of these multi-disciplinary projects of more junior members of the team, who will assist you.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Become the Project Leader on selected projects
  • Working as part of a larger team on certain projects
  • Attend principal meetings and make client presentations
  • Encourage technical excellence within the team
  • Over time, develop the ability to become a point of contact for key clients
  • Help generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients
  • Work on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors
  • Be client facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion.
  • Working closely with others in a team environment to achieve a common goal
  • Produce drawings and specifications
  • Produce calculations or guide others to complete them

Senior Electrical Engineer - Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building services design.
  • Either Chartered or working towards.
  • Knowledge of relevant software, which may include Relux, Dialux, Amtech, Revit.
  • Knowledge of British & European Standards
  • A good understanding of HV/LV systems
  • Knowledge of integration of embedded generation
  • An understanding of the specification of renewable technologies
  • Working knowledge of BREEAM
  • A strong willingness to learn and a desire to develop new and existing skills
  • Desirable: Knowledge of HTM's.
