Payroll Specialist
Our client is a global retail brand with presence in 150+ countries fostering a dynamic culture and commitment to innovation and sustainability. This role will be supporting over 3000 employees in the UK & Ireland providing a fast-paced environment where you can play an integral role in driving the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our payroll vendor to process payroll for 3,000+ employees.
- Manage key processes such as Family Leave, Sickness, and Commission.
- Conduct regular payroll checks and follow monthly checklists.
- Prepare payroll reports and journals, ensuring accuracy and audit compliance.
- Support HR and Accounting teams with queries.
- Manage employee queries with a strong customer focus.
- Perform regular reconciliations of payroll accounts.
- Ensure accurate calculations by the payroll vendor.
- Work on process improvements and collaborate with the wider HR team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- End-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Experience with UK and Irish payrolls.
- Strong customer focus for handling payroll queries.
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Ability to manually calculate a payslip.
- Excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
