Job Title: Passenger Transport Escort - Temporary Part-Time Position

Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers to and from their homes and to their destinations
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle's interior
- Ensure all necessary equipment is on board and in good condition
- Maintain records for passengers and users
- Operate communication equipment and entertainment systems on board
- Secure passengers in wheelchairs and special seats
- Build positive relationships with passengers, families, and staff
- Deliver customers safely and with dignity
- Contribute to the council's priorities and outcomes
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with individuals who require assistance with mobility, personal care, and behavioural issues
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Proficient in the English language
- Knowledge of specific care requirements for individuals with special needs
- Experience in a caring and responsible role
- Passenger Assistant Training Scheme (PATS) certificate or special needs-based training (desirable)
