Management Accountant
- Previous experience working in a similar role with ability to process and close month-end cycle.
- Ideally part qualified or qualified candidate
- Strong Excel experience
- Technical knowledge of revenue recognition, VAT/CIS, payroll, P11D, accruals, prepayments and journal entries.
Management Accountant
- Take ownership and manage the accounting function across the group including day-to-day bookkeeping and recording of transactions.
- Carryout a revenue recognition exercise and accrual review on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
- Preparation and submission of monthly CIS returns.
- Ownership of monthly bank reconciliations.
Management Accountant
- Responsible for reconciling balance sheet items.
- Taking ownership of month end cycle and posting of deprecation, prepayment and accrual journals and preparation of month end trial balance.
- Oversee raising and submission of sales invoices and credit control.
- Review and finalise subcontractor, consultant and supplier payment runs.
- Oversee payroll and pension compliance and assist with monthly processing, including dealing with technical queries.
Management Accountant
- Undertaking regular risk profiling of supply chain and monthly reporting. Review of existing credit terms and negotiate improved terms where possible.
- Responsible for monthly overhead budget review and reporting.
- Maintain fixed asset register and reporting monthly lease commitments.
- Assisting the FD with internal controls, WIP management, Statutory accounts and audit preparation, annual budgeting, managing working capital requirements and tax compliance as necessary.
