We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer based in Rushden to join to one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. This role requires several overnight stays a week. Our client are well-established with over 20 years' experience in the cutting machinery industry.
Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer
- Provide nationwide service on CNC machines.
- Reactive diagnosis, maintenance and repair of machine breakdowns.
- Service and repair of high-specification 4-axis machine tools.
- Fault finding.
- Diagnose and repair CNC machine tools.
- Assemble and dismantle pneumatic and technical mechanical assemblies.
- Test, install and commission CNC equipment.
Requirements for a successful Field Service Engineer
- Minimum 4 years field service engineering experience specialising in CNC machines.
- Experience fault finding both mechanical and electrical.
- Full clean UK licence and willingness to travel/stay overnight.
- Strong working knowledge of 24v CNC control systems, Servo Driver and Inverter Systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Computer literate.

Salary: £40,000 per annum plus van
Location: Rushden
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 11:00am
