We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Manager in public practice to join a dynamic and forward-thinking public practice client in North Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a key leadership role within a growing and reputable firm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients across varied sectors. This will include developing the client relationships and ensuring that expectations are managed accordingly. Overseeing a team of staff and supporting in their development you will report directly to partners/directors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and providing expert advice on complex financial matters.
- Ensure all audit and assurance work is conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional standards.
- Identify and address potential risks, offering strategic solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless service offering.
Key Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in audit and assurance, ideally within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and audit procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- A proactive approach with a strong focus on delivering results.
