Year 2 Primary Teacher - Role Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for teaching a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and effective lessons. Planning is shared with the parallel teacher, ensuring collaborative and consistent teaching across the year group. This allows you to focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all students receive the support and encouragement they need to succeed.
Year 2 Primary Teacher - Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the shared planning
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Collaborating with the parallel teacher and other staff
- Participating in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Year 2 Primary Teacher - Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching at the primary level, particularly in Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
