Corporate Tax Consulting

Posted by Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited.

Your new company
I am currently working with one of the Big 4 accountancy firms on a corporate tax consulting role. The firm itself is one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the world, and you will be specifically placed within the listed taxation team. The listed team has multiple faucets to it, these being the VAT, transfer pricing, legal tax team, which all gain work from the team YOU will be part of. In this team you will work with such a range of clients you will not have to specialise if you do not wish. The only businesses they don't work with are Financial Services or the Public Sector, and this is due to another part of the business working with them.

Your new role
In this role you will be working with some of the best business tax professionals on the market, and also utilising the firms' state of the art and leading AI software to ensure you deliver the highest quality work to clients. This role has no compliance in it and is purely an advisory role. Being a part of this team will give you knowledge and experience of working with Fortune 500 companies, as well as FTSE 100 companies. The role has come about due to the growth target they have set themselves, coupled with the high demand for work from their clients.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to be ACA or CTA qualified and have UK advisory experience. Having industry experience is useful to be successful, but is not a requirement for the successful candidate. Having a range of experience within business / Corporate Tax is essential for the successful candidate.

What you'll get in return
Having the market leading Tax Ai within their firm, the AI offers more than just a Q&A system. Having the capabilities of summarising a whole contract for you. Meaning you have more time to do the reviewing than the reading. The firm also offers a hybrid and flexible approach to work. Offering flexible hours and allowing employees to work from home 2-3 days a week, they offer great flexibility for whatever you need. The firm makes constant promotions and has been consistent with pay rises through the years.
