Client Details
A New vacancy for a Finance and Systems Accountant to set up and run with the implementation, automation and data manipulation of a new accountancy software system. You will spend time on a training course learning the system and its most advanced ways of working and receive and certification at the end of it.
The role will involve an element of Finance Business Partnering and the coordination with hiring managers across the wider organisation. You will use Business Intelligence tools to record live data and work towards streamlining processes across the departments.
Description
Duties and tasks of the Finance and Systems Accountant:
- Work closely with heads of departments to create dashboards, reports and controls
- Analyse and explore data between the systems, as well as UK and overseas distributors for data migration
- Lead and train on the implementation of a new purchase order system
- Involved with AI projects and ways to upload invoices and receipts
- Analyse general ledger functions, management accounts, statistical accounting, reports, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments, month end and year and processes
- Create and produce reports for business costs and a breakdown if different departments, geographical areas and products etc
- Cash flow analysis and forecasting
Profile
To be successful in the role as the Finance and systems Accountant you will:
- Have demonstrable experience of improving or streamlining accounting processes
- Excellent use of Excel and the ability to use pivot tables and vlookups for a large volume of data
- Enjoy project work and the use of streamlining accounting systems
- Experience of producing reports and business partnering
