Aspire People Agency is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teacher to join a dedicated team at a well-regarded Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Nuneaton. This school specialises in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEMH requirements. You will work closely with support staff and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH needs.

Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.

Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support learning and development.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional well-being of all students.

Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to provide comprehensive support.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and reports to parents and carers.

Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on best practices in SEN education.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience working with children with SEMH needs in a SEN or mainstream school setting.

Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective strategies to support these students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
