Intensive Housing Management Officer

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a dedicated Intensive Housing Management Officer to join their in Highgate. In this role, you will deliver a customer-focused housing service and manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure effective service monitoring and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease and Service Level Monitoring: Daily oversight of lease agreements and service level agreements with partner agencies.
  • Occupancy and Financial Management: Ensure occupancy, rent collection, and arrears targets are achieved through property lettings and refurbishments.
  • Customer Support: Provide practical housing assistance and information to customers from entry into the service and throughout their engagement.
  • Allocation Procedures: Assist in managing the schemes' allocation procedures.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure properties meet health and safety standards.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Monitor and ensure high standards of reactive repairs and planned maintenance, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Customer Involvement: Promote and encourage customer involvement, consultation, and communication in housing management policy and service delivery.
  • Housing Management Duties: Perform day-to-day housing management tasks, including maintaining cleanliness, preparing rooms, and conducting site inspections.
  • Anti-Social Behaviour: Monitor and reduce issues of anti-social behaviour within services.
  • Tenancy Compliance: Clearly communicate tenant responsibilities and ensure tenancy compliance.
  • Community Links: Work with colleagues to maintain good relations with the local neighbourhood.
  • Financial Interpretation: Accurately interpret financial information relating to rents, charges, and contracts.
  • Reporting: Produce accurate and timely reports using strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
