Role: Primary Teacher
Location: Kettering
Start Date: January 2025
Pay: £150 - £250 per day
We are currently working with a primary school based around the Kettering area, supporting them recruit a qualified primary teacher to start full time from January 2025.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Educate students in various subjects, ensuring a well-rounded curriculum that promotes critical thinking and creativity.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
- Assess student performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices within the school community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification in Primary Education or Early Childhood Education is essential or QTS qualification
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies for maintaining an effective classroom environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is desirable but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering the holistic development of each student.
