Layka Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a leading conveyancing business in the recruitment of their Account Manager. Fantastic benefits including: salary basic £28,000 with OTE £37,080 PA, remote working, private healthcare, 24 days holiday + 1 additional day with each year of employment up to a maximum of 28 days.

Account Managers are at the heart of the business, providing vital support and keeping their finger on the pulse of the First Referrer's portfolios. From the point the Onboarders pass the instruction to the Account Managers, it's the Account Managers responsibility to take the case swiftly through to Conveyancer allocation in conjunction with the Legal Support Team, ensuring the client and agent are kept updated throughout this 2–4-week period.

It is essential that you have very good knowledge of the conveyancing process, leading the client's journey through to allocation, and then being the primary point of contact for the Referrer's portfolio thereafter.

As an Account Manager you must be prepared to work as part of a team, be able to interact with colleagues and clients in a professional and tactful manner and in doing so present a positive image of the Company. The role will naturally involve close liaison with the BDMs, Conveyancers, BAs, and the Legal Support Team.

Key Tasks:

  • Manage a caseload of clients from Instruction to Conveyancer Allocation
  • Actively keeping your pool of Agents appraised on Case Progress, and Exchange Pipeline, conducting periodic update calls
  • Generate, check and send Referrer Reports at agreed frequency for each Referrer under your purview
  • Be the first point of contact for Agent escalations if the Operations are struggling
  • Making in-person visits to agents where required
  • Reply to all emails within 1 business day, and answer calls within 20 seconds or phone back within an hour

Experience:

  • Previous property industry knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs and Case Management Systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to build relationships
  • Experience in delivering customer focused solutions
