**Here's what you'll be doing

npower Business Solutions (nBS) is the E.ON UK Industrial and Commercial (I&C) pillar and a market leader in the B2B energy retail sector. I&C is a £7 billion revenue business serving c20,000 customers and approximately 200,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Delivery Lead to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. For this role, you will advise, oversee, and manage the delivery of all operational training necessary to transform and adopt the industry Market Wide Half Hourly Settlement (MWHHS) new ways of working. You will have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) 2-3 days per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Through the creation of an operational Training Needs Analysis, assess the organisation's training and employee development needs, aligned to Market Wide Half Hourly (MWHH) impacts and resulting needs.
  • Create training materials and programmes to address specific operational gaps in adopting the Market Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) new ways of working, leveraging existing solutions/content where possible and relevant.
  • Utilise matrix managed resource and take overall lead of internal resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish the most appropriate training model, strategy, and delivery plans to ensure colleagues are equipped to operate in a post-MHHS world, based on a comprehensive understanding of the training need.
  • Define and agree Training Evaluation strategy for MWHH training, implementing this as agreed to monitor and assess the effectiveness and success of the training programme through engaging with colleagues and stakeholders.

**What we need from you

  • Experience of driving performance through leadership and personal development in a complex environment.
  • Experience and proven track record in scoping, designing and delivering executing successful training programmes.
  • Practical experience of using a range and blend of training approaches to meet needs identified e.g. on-the-job/in classroom, eLearning, mentoring, coaching, simulations etc.
  • The ability to evaluate training needs and develop effective training programmes that address the needs of the organisation and employees.
  • The ability to influence key stakeholders, generating an understanding of complex issues, providing clarity and certainty in a complex environment.
