About the Role:
- Position: Assistant Headteacher
- Salary: £40,240 to £45,434
- Location: Bedford/Luton
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Driving Ability: Essential
Ideal Candidate:
- Secondary or primary teacher seeking a senior leadership role
- Open to working with young people with special needs
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on curriculum, teaching, and learning
- Ability to act as a delegated authority in the absence of the Headteacher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the teaching team to achieve outstanding outcomes for learners
- Foster educational and social development of each young person
- Build effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies
- Ensure safeguarding and equality and diversity practices are followed
- Conduct regular peer reviews and supervisions with the teaching team
