Estate Management Officer

£32,527 (annually pro rata)

  • 22.2 hours per week over 3 days (pattern is negotiable)

More about the role:

The prime purpose of the role is to ensure that we maintain our estates and communal spaces to a high standard and respond to customer feedback on how we can resolve problems and improve services. Reporting to the Neighbourhoods & Mixed Tenure Manager the main purpose of the role is to oversee the delivery of our estate management work by monitoring standards, liaising with contractors and carry our health and safety and other inspections.

You will have some budget responsibility related to works that are necessary to respond to issues identified during your work or raised by customers. The role is part of our Neighbourhood team, and you will work closely with colleagues in that team on delivery of our services at the Neighbourhood level.

Who you are:

  • You will have experience of working as part of a team (in a work or other setting)
  • You will have some experience of using Microsoft's standard software packages (Word Excel, Outlook and Teams ideally)
  • You will be able to plan your own workload and have great organisational and observational skills.
  • You will have experience of dealing first hand with customers and resolving concerns or problems they raise
  • Ideally you will have some experience in taking part in delivering estate management services and have some knowledge around maintaining health and safety in communal areas
  • You will have good communication skills and have the ability to adapt your communication style to different situations
