Service Manager – Vacuum Technology

Service Manager
to lead their UK Service and Support operations. This role is based at their Chessington site and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for team leadership and customer service excellence.
About the Role:
As a Service Manager, you will oversee a team of 12, including on-site mechanics, technicians, and Field Service Engineers who travel to customer sites across the UK. While the role is predominantly office-based, you will have the opportunity to visit customer sites and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resources at the Chessington Service Centre to ensure all customer service needs are met.
- Implement service planning strategies, review performance standards, and develop continuous improvement programs.
- Manage the timely processing of invoices, employee time tracking, parts orders, service plans, quotes, and follow-ups.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong leadership and team management experience, ideally in a service or technical environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage resources and priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel and meet customers as part of the role.
