Salary: £29,683.33 (permanent) / £12.50 per hour (temp, first 39 hours), £16.66 per hour (temp, 5 hours overtime)
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm, Friday 7:00am-1:00pm
The Work Shop is delighted to recruit for a Temp to Perm Experienced Warehouse/Stores Operative for an established company based in Wellow, near Romsey. Due to the remote location, you will need to be a driver.

Main Duties:
- Receiving and despatching products using manual techniques, forklifts, and cranes
- Completing goods inward and despatch paperwork and computer entries
- Safely handling goods during loading and offloading
- Checking delivered goods for quantity and condition
- Quarantining non-conforming or damaged products
- Picking, packing, and despatching customer orders
- Performing stock taking duties and maintaining stock levels
- Participating in continuous improvement of service and performance
- Maintaining a clean and tidy stores and yard area
- Performing driving and delivery duties in a dropside van (non-HGV)
Person Specification:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- NVQ in Warehousing & Storage (desirable)
- Fork truck licence (Counter Balance, even if out of date)
- Full UK driving licence for 3.5t truck
- Familiarity with despatch manager systems and stock control
- Basic data entry skills and understanding of spreadsheets
- Knowledge of pipes and fittings (advantageous)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize, and multitask
- Manual dexterity and methodical approach
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic
- Professional, helpful, and polite
- Adherence to Health and Safety procedures
