Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant required for a temporary to permanent opportunity working for a well established business based in Birmingham

This role is to start immediately, you must be available to start asap to be considered for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Day to day running of the Accounts payable
  • Responsible for the posting of invoices / credit notes to the system
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Payment of invoices
  • Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Cash allocation
  • Journals
  • Respond to supplier queries and requests for information

Key Requirements :

  • Previous experience in Accounts Assistant role preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent data entry and organisational skills
