Our client, a dedicated player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Wirer to join their cable assembly and wiring production department on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process cable assemblies, looms, and unit assemblies in accordance with work instructions or drawings provided
- Check completed work for compliance before passing to the next stage
- Ensure job history is accurately maintained and reported on all route cards you work on
- Proactively advise management of any issues that may affect delivery or quality
- Adhere to all Health and Safety, housekeeping, quality, and environmental policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Industry standard qualifications (J-STD IPC/WHMA-A-620) required
- Awareness and understanding of ESD Controls
- Ability to read and understand complex drawings and instructions
- Awareness and understanding of AS9100/ISO9001
- Experience in wiring and assembly
Key Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in IT and capable of using PCs and tablets as required
- Motivated and with good time management skills
- Calm and collected with the ability to work under extreme pressure
