Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for the second half of 2024 they are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain / Procurement team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Developing and managing supplier relationships to achieve business requirements

Evaluation of suppler performance

Supporting and lead supplier selection, supplier development and NPI

Identify of quality, cost, delivery and lead time improvements

Lead problem solving activities to resolve issues affecting supplier relations and supply chain performance

Root cause and corrective action knowledge

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

CIPS Qualified

Experience in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Production environment

Strong negotiation skills,

Knowledge of procurement and contractual Law advantageous

Project Management experience advantageous

Benefits Package:

Salary:- £38,000 - £40,000
Hours:- Monday - Friday Days - 37hrs a week - Flexible start time, half day Friday
