**School Grounds Person required in Ealing
At Engage Education Services, we're currently recruiting for a Grounds Persons in a large Secondary School in Ealing.
The Role
To assist in the maintaining of the school grounds to a high standard which include gardening maintenance duties involving the use of hand held powered tools, e.g. mowing equipment, trimmers and hedge cutters.
The role also requires undertaking all aspects of sports turf maintenance and marking out pitches.
- Ensure the safe use, storage and disposal of pesticides and other hazardous substances.
- To keep the roads of the Estate free of leaves and litter.
- Snow/ice removal and ensuring playgrounds and pathways are safe.
- Preparing plants for ornamental planting areas having due regard to factors including soil composition, drainage, prevailing weather, location and flowering times, pests etc.
This is a Full-time, Perm position, 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday
