Cooking Appliance Sales Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cooking Appliance Salesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail or industry experience and will be responsible for selling a wide range of cooking appliances to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets.

YOUR JOB - your tasks will include:

  • Sales and Customer Service: Support customers who need assistance in store and advise them on the best solutions in order to sell more and generate great customer experiences.
  • Sales Targets and Performance: To maximise sales and profitability by achieving sales targets and performance goals.Utilise effective sales techniques to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and categories you sell. When new products come on board, actively seek out to learn all about their features and benefits. Sharing this knowledge with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Store Maintenance and Merchandising: Assist in setting up product displays, promotions, and special events and monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Follow up with customers after purchases to ensure satisfaction and handle customer complaints and returns professionally and efficiently.

YOUR PROFILE - your knowledge, skills and experience include:

  • Proven experience in retail sales in the cooking appliance industry.
  • Strong understanding of cooking appliances and their features.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with customers and build lasting relationships.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
  • High level of motivation, initiative, and enthusiasm.
  • Previous experience in a specialty retail environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends and innovations in cooking appliances.
  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.

Additional Information:

  • Hourly rate: From £12.00 per hour plus weekly commission.
  • Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
