Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Position in Shrewsbury
Tradewind Recruitment is currently partnering with a primary school in Shrewsbury, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role. This position involves providing 1:1 support to a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a mainstream classroom. The role is set to start in September 2024 and will initially run until the end of the first term, with the potential for extension based on performance.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children.
- A Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not required.
- Experience with children or adults with SEND is highly advantageous.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
