DK Recruitment are offering a fantastic opportunity for a driven Finance Manager/Financial Controller to play a key role in some ambitious expansion plans. Joining a close-knit team you'll oversee the day-to-day financial operations whilst playing an integral role within the Senior Management Team, offering a blend of strategic involvement and hands-on daily tasks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee weekly/monthly financial reports to the Senior Management Team, ensuring effective management of both operational and overhead costs.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including the processing of journals and investigating any discrepancies.
- Manage and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with budget holders.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of payroll processes.
- Handle the preparation and submission of Quarterly VAT Returns and End of Year financials.
- Oversee the Credit Control process, ensuring timely collections.
- Evaluate and enhance existing financial processes and procedures.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- We're looking for someone who can truly make an impact.
- Ideally, you'll be fully qualified with CIMA, ACCA, or ICAEW, backed with relevant experience
- Experience in the FMCG, Food and Drink, or Online sectors will be highly advantageous.
- A background in a manufacturing accounting environment is essential, and familiarity with Sage Accounting software is a plus. Advanced Excel skills are also a must for precise financial analysis and reporting.
