An SEN Teaching Assistant is required in a SEND school to support SENCO pupils such as MLD, ADHD, ASC (Verbal and non-verbal), Speech Difficulty and challenging Behaviour.

Pupils with complex SEN needs will have a variety of needs which can include Communication and interaction difficulties, cognitive and learning problems along with social, emotional, mental emotional health including those with sensory and/or physical needs.

As a Trainee SEN teaching assistant you will be giving both 1:1 and small group support to pupils in a classroom setting along with elevating and raising the children's spirits to create a fun and positive learning environment that staff and student alike can thrive.

You will work alongside other SEND support workers to provide effective therapeutic alternative education and receive ongoing support from experienced education practitioners here at Engage Education.
