Monday to Friday 7am till 5pm daily. (Needs to be flexible in busy periods to stay and complete)
Saturday and Sunday (Seasonal)
Pay rate: £11.44 - £12.00
Job Respnsibilties -
Manufacturing Snacks
Operating and maintaining factory machinery and equipment
Keeping machinery and areas clean
Assembling products using hand tools and equipment
Inspecting and testing products to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements of each product line
Packaging and labelling products for shipment or overseeing packaging machinery
Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Following and advocating safety and hygiene procedures and regulations
Working on all areas of production line through to stockroom dispatch.
Requirements:
Previous knowledge of factory production lines e.g. packaging, quality control experience etc
Experience in this type of factory operative job role preferably in our industry e.g. minimum 2 years
Knowledge of the machinery, tools, equipment, and materials used in production a plus
To be friendly and approachable with a good attention to detail
Demonstrable skills with time management and task management
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Strong record keeping abilities
The ability to focus on accuracy and strong attention to detail
Capable of physical work
Can do attitude with a positive outlook
Previous experience working in packaging in a food and drink manufacturing environment.
