Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Chef based within Portsmouth,PO9
Available shifts / Locations below:
- Monday to Friday ( 5 Days a week)-This is a full time position
- Postcode: PO9 3LY
- 06:00-16:00pm
- £15.69 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
- Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
Skills and experience required:
- Must have at least 2 years previous Chef experience
- DBS Required
- City & Guilds NVQ 3 in Cookery or equivalent for the Catering Industry
- Food Safety Certificate Level 2
- Allergen Level 2 Training
- Chef whites and safety shoes
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
- Able to manage time effectively
- Ability to work both alone and in a team
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
- COSHH
- Significant experience in catering environments producing for large numbers
- Communicate information relating to food service requirements to staff and other members of the public both verbally and by telephone.
- Notifying the person in charge on any discrepancies from receipt and distribution of catering supplies
- Responsible for the correct operation of kitchen equipment
