IFRS17 Accountant - Central GovernmentMacildowie is delighted to be partnering with a Central Government linked organisation seeking two roles, one IFRS9 and one IFRS17 experienced individual for initially a 12 month contract but scope to extend beyond this. They are based central London however predominantly remote as only 1 day per week on site so could work if travelling from further afield.
If you hold current SC clearance that would prove desirable however it is not a requirement.
IMPORTANT - although this is for a public sector organisation, experience in the sector is not a minimum requirement so if you have the IFRS9 or IFRS17 knowledge within purely commercial businesses please still apply.
Role - IFRS17
- Providing IFRS 17 technical accounting advice and guidance
- Practical IFRS 17 implementation experience
- Building and developing Excel models performing accounting and modelling calculations
- Preparing Transition Accounts
- Designing and supporting new processes, controls, and Working Day Timetables (WDT)
- Designing, implementing, and testing the future state systems and solutions
- Supporting the wider FRC Programme
